Limits in Mode 3 Do limits switches work with Mode 3?

I would like to operate the motor open loop under serial control and move the motor between the positive and negative limits. It this possible?

Rick,

Yes, the positive limit switch, when asserted, will stop movement in the forward direction in mode 3 open loop serial control. The negative limit switch stops movement in the reverse direction.
