Greetings,
I am currently using an H-bridge which would be similar to your ICON_HB; however my implementation is not stable, and seems to blow the HIP at random; I am driving a 24VDC brushed 72W motor, under little to no load.
Due to price and value i am interested in the Simple Bridge, what is the best way of mating it to another PCB, based on the data sheet it would appear that component side up (FET SIDE) would be ideal for cooling purposes, however due to pin placement this does not seem feasible. What do you suggest, Is it possible to purchase w/o the 0.1" connectors in place?

We would require a special order of 50+ units for the device to be manufactured without the headers. A fan could be mounted over the SB1 to provide some active cooling whiloe a heat sink could be mounted to the bottom of the PCB to draw heat away from the module.
The current ratings of the product are based on a 90% duty-cycle resistive load, and thermal issues are the main problem with exceeding these ratings. In addition the board traces and connectors are not designed to exceed the specifications in the datasheet.
