Hi all,
I was just wondering if someone could help me out with a little problem I am having. I need to build a device that sends a sequence of key presses to a PCs PS/2 port. I know that the MemKey can send key presses to a PS/2 port when it receives an input from a matrix keypad. However I need a single key-press (more likely a single button on the unit) to send a large number of PS/2 key-presses. I was wondering if it was possible to send data to the MemKey serially from something like a Stamp and then send this data on in the proper PS/2 format?
This is needed for a system automation function; at present the user needs to type in approximately 20 characters. The system has no display screen of any sort so there is room for human error in this. I was hoping to be able to build a ?black box? with a single button and a PS/2 connection lead that does all of the typing for the user.
Any ideas?

I guess you could have a device sitting between the keypad and MEMKey and when a key is pressed toggle the MEMKey line associated with that key 20 times.
